Video! My Fair Godmother!

Hey y'all! So as you can probably tell by posts and my shelf, one of the books by Janette Rallison called My Fair Godmother is becoming a movie! Or at least has a trailor...(if it ever makes it to the screen---I have no idea :) Hopefully though!) So I have posted along with this a video of the trailor! Oh, and if your interested in the author herself you should check out her blog! It made me laugh so hard in some parts, she is amazing! Here's the link: http://janette-rallison.blogspot.com/ Have a great night guys!

My Fair Godmother

New Stuff!

Ok, so as you guys may have noticed (or not), I have added a few things near the end of my blog! One is my bookshelf; this will show what books I want to read...and hopefully get to read. This one is located at the left hand side of the page. :) And the the other addition is the spinning carousal. I thought it looked pretty neat, it will be showing some of my many favourites. Unfortunetly, it can only hold a certain amount so....I can only put a few in there. Thanks for all your comments as well, I love all my followers (all nine! yay :D) their blogs are amazing...so if your reading my blog for the first time (or however often) and are interested in other blogs check theirs out! You won't be disappointed! Keep reading! Bye...

Blog Hoppers!

Most people know about the blog hop and how there is a question each week for discussion, if you don't know anything about this I did post a link in one of my previous blogs! So check it out if your interested. Now, the question for this week is:
"What is the one bookish thing you would love to have, no matter  the cost?"
My answer would definatly be a big, spacious book room. Sort of like a mini library just for myself and my books. With a comfy chair and big area rug (maybe add in an ol' fireplace). Where I could just sit back and relax, pick up a book and read! So, what is everyone elses thoughts on it? I would love to know! Thanks for reading! P.S. I ADDED A FEATURE NEAR THE END OF MY BLOG...CHECK IT OUT! :P

Waiting....

I did manage to finish the book by Ally Carter yesterday. And as I expected it blew me away! So I have posted my first review in my Review page! Yay! Now, I am currently waiting for my phone to ring and the librarian to say: "Your book has come in." The book being, 13 Little Blue Envelopes. While I'm there I might look for the next book in the series of the Gallagher Girls books. Hopefully the book isn't too 'new' and the library's in my area ACTUALLY have a book I want for once! I can't wait until next week for the next blog hop question! Cheers!

Got it!

So, I finally picked up Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy by Ally Carter today! Yes! And I asked about the other books but she could only put on 'hold' for me one, that is 13 Little Blue Envelopes. I am almost done the book, (yes I love to devour books), and am hoping by next evening I'll be able to do a review on it. I LOVE LOVE this book so far. After chapter 8 or 9 I was hooked! Well, chow for now!

My "Must Reads!"

Ok, so finally tomorrow I am going to pick up Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy! Along with that I also will be looking for in my local library (its a small library so they usually have to 'hold' it for me and get it from a different location):
13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson
Amy and Rogers Epic Detour by Morgan Matson
and the newest (and the one I want to read SOOO bad)
Dash and Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. This one I think from what I read was realeased today. I'm not sure. So I am hoping on hopes that the local library can get it from someother location and hold it for me because I am dying to read it! So what's everyone reading currently? Thanks for all the comments as well. I feel so good when I come to my blog and see a new post (then I know this isn't for nothing). :D

Author Quotes!

Hey everyone! So, today I decided to post a  couple of famous author quotes so here it goes:
"A book worth reading is worth buying."
John Ruskin -- This is a very well known one... and...
"A novel is a mirror carried along a main road."Henri B. Stendhal
These are some of the few I know. Do you have any favourite quotes from authors? Famous or not? I would love to hear! Well, I'm off to bed! Two more sleeps until I get my books!

Book Blogger Hop

So I still haven't picked up my books yet from the library, going to do that on Wednesday and I'll review one as soon as I finish it. But I have been looking at some other Book Blogs, one of them is http://manda-b.blogspot.com/. It is an amazing blog! So check it out! I decided to join the Book Blogger Hop, anyone heard of it? Well, if your interested go to this link: http://www.crazy-for-books.com/and it explains it about less than half way down the page. The question for this week is: (This week's question comes from Becky who blogs at Becky's Barmy Book Blog:)
"Where is your favorite place to read? Curled up on the sofa, in bed, in the garden?"
So whats my answer? Well just about anywhere! But I tend to read in my room, laying my bed with a cup of cocoa on my side table. It just relaxes me... Where is your favorite place to read? I would love to hear your answers!

Hey Everyone!

So, I got a call from the library earlier and they said that they just received the book I have been waiting for! It's the second book in the Gallagher Girl Series by Ally Carter. I finished I'd Tell You I Love You but Then I'd Have To Kill You. Amazing enough, I loved the book. Has anyone read it? Now I am going to pick up the next one in the series: Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy. I am hoping it is as good as the first one. I am also going to see if the library has Amy and Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson and maybe 13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen  Johnson. I've heard they were good. Well I'll keep you posted on what I find out! Thanks for reading my first blog EVER! I really appreciate it! P.S. Has anyone read The Scorch Trails by James Dashner yet? I read the Maze Runner and loved it...I would love to hear if its good or not.. Thanks!
