P.S. Ok, this is going to sound like a stupid question with a simple answer. I already recieved help for this but I couldn't figure it out. So, heres the dilehma: I want to post a review on my Review
page...so how do I get it to show a link and when the viewer clicks on that link will bring up the review? I need lots of details too. Sorry, I'm blonde! Thanks sooo much everyone...
Okay, so, I'm going to give this a shot but I'm not *positive* that it's what you're looking for. (If it's not, sorry for being useless!) :P
ReplyDeleteFirst, go to "New Post" and write up your review using all the regular steps for posting. This will have the review show up on your blog homepage and everyone following will see the update on their dashboard.
Secondly, after the review is posted, click "view post" and that will give you the specific url just for that post. Copy this url.
Third, go to "edit pages" and select "Reviews". On that page, type out the name of your review and then highlight what you just typed and hit the "add a link" button. Paste the url you copied earlier into the pop up box like usual.
Then click "publish page" to update your Reviews page with the new link. Now there's a link from your Reviews Page to the review you just posted.
However, I am of no help if you don't want your review to show up on your homepage like any other post. I'm still figuring out this blogging thing myself!
